Council Announcements:

The Scout Office will be hosting a Holiday Giving Tree from November 14 - December 19. Each card on the tree will have the first name of a scout along with the uniform items that they need. There will also be space for other items they may want such as books, crafts, camping items, etc. Scout supporters can purchase the item(s) at the Scout Office and give them to the store staff to collect for each scout. The Scout Office will keep the names of the scouts confidential. The purchased items will be delivered after December 19. If you would like to participate in this program as a recipient, please contact Dan (danielmhurley@gmail.com) or Brittany at the Scout Office (Brittany.zuberbier@scouting.org). If you would like to participate as a supporter, please stop by the Scout Office.

Autzen Cleanups: We will clean up the upper ring of the stadium on the mornings after each of the seven home games. We will need about 30 people. One scout and one family member will be paid to start with. If we don’t get all the slots filled, we'll open it up to more family members. If you have more who would like to participate, please list them in the waitlist section.

Volunteer Hours & Service Projects

Hearts for Hospice is offering an ongoing service opportunity.
They have a warehouse where they need 1-2 volunteers at a time for 1-2 hours on Tuesdays (10am -1pm) or Thursdays (12-3pm) helping customers unload/inspect the donations received or cleaning medical equipment. They would like you to arrive ½ hour before the time you plan to work. Please contact Paul Cook: Paul@heartsforhospiceoregon.org if interested.
